CJHS @ Challenger Learning Center

At the end of 2017, we were approached by Mrs. Bevans to help sponsor the 6th grade Science Classes attend a day of hands on learning at the Challenger Learning Center.  After hearing and seeing the pictures of the trip we were very glad that we were able to help with this innovative learning experience.  The students spent half the day working in teams at the Control Center and the other half of their day on the Spaceship also working in teams.  We are hoping this field trip will continue to be a special project for CCEF as it is a fantastic learning experience that every 6th grade student gets to attend.  Our thanks to Principal Maxwell for working with Mrs. Bevans to get this trip planned as it is spread out over 2 days with half of the 6th graders going the first day & the second half going the following day.  Everyone that we have heard from agrees that the experience is like nothing they have ever done before!
