Fifteen classrooms in the Clinton school district were awarded grants from the Clinton Community Education Foundation in the Spring of 2019
CCEF awarded grants across 15 classrooms totaling approximately $9000 dollars. The number of applications we received set a new record. We received 23 applications and it was very difficult to narrow it down to the $9000 for this year.
President of the CCEF, Barbara Gullone indicates the classroom grants are there to bridge the gap between what teachers need that the school cannot supply due to budget constraints. She says they want to do what they can to enhance the learning experience of students in Clinton.
